Highly regarded private client and public law English barrister Claire van Overdijk has joined Carey Olsen Bermuda Limited as counsel in the firm's dispute resolution and litigation team.
An expert in cross border disputes and private international law, Claire is recognised as a leading figure in jurisdictional issues both in the public law and private client fields. Claire has extensive experience of private client practice including contentious trust and estates work and her practice has frequently extended to cross border disputes concerning trusts, estates, foreign succession and domicile.
Prior to joining Carey Olsen, Claire practised as a barrister at Outer Temple Chambers in London, where she also had a busy public law practice, was ranked in Chambers and Partners and described as 'absolutely dedicated to getting the best for her clients'.
