"The 7th edition of Global Migration & Wealth Management East Asia conference finished with great success on 4-5 November 2019 at Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View Hotel.
The event addresses the full range of immigration and wealth management trends among HNWIs in East Asia, with a specific focus on the Chinese investor. It bought together over 200 immigration agents, lawyers, governments, wealth managers, family office, private bankers, etc.

At the Global Migration & Wealth Management East Asia on 4-5 November, immigration experts elaborated on the increase in enquiries have led to a wave of emigration in Hong Kong as well as updates on new Residence and Citizenship by Investment (RCBI) programmes and changes to existing programmes. Other topics discussed include trust planning, cross border investment trends, pre-immigration tax planning, succession planning and more".Migration agencies are reporting an increase in enquiries from Hong Kong. While Australia, the US and Canada have traditionally been favoured by Hong Kong emigrants, tightening immigration policies are making the move increasingly difficult. According to a SCMP report, more Hongkongers are showing interest in other destinations such as Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Malaysia".
