Carey Olsen continues to add to Hong Kong dispute resolution and litigation team.

Press release from Carey Olsen on Tuesday 14 July, 2020.

Leading offshore law firm Carey Olsen has appointed Catie Wang as an associate in its dispute resolution and litigation team in Hong Kong.

Catie has a wide range of experience in insolvency and corporate disputes, particularly in relation to representing public and private companies in appraisal litigation arising out of the statutory merger regime in the Cayman Islands.

She joins Carey Olsen after three years in the Hong Kong office of another offshore law firm, prior to which she worked at Singapore's oldest law firm, Dentons Rodyk, and for a family office in Australia. Catie is fluent in English and a native Mandarin speaker.

Jeremy Lightfoot, partner and head of the dispute resolution and litigation team in Hong Kong said: "Catie is a talented lawyer and someone who has already gained a good deal of experience during her career. We are delighted that she has chosen to join our Hong Kong team, which continues to grow rapidly."

Carey Olsen has had a presence in Asia since opening its Singapore office in 2015. It launched its Hong Kong office a year later, and now boasts 10 litigation fee earners across both locations.
